Sweet Home Romance with Lee Do-hyun? I want you to watch May’s youth
Actress Ko Min-si explained about her “lax romance” with her brother and sister Lee Do-hyun in the drama.
On the 30th, a round interview of Ko Min-si, who appeared in the Netflix drama “Sweet Home,” was held online.
“Sweet Home” is a Netflix original series that depicts the bizarre and shocking story of a reclusive, loner high school student Hyun-soo (Song Kang-bun) going through in an apartment where he moved after losing his family. The popular webtoon of the same name is original, and directed by Lee Eung-bok, the director of “Descendants of the Sun,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
Ko Min-si plays Lee Eun-yu, an adolescent girl who gets upset in everything. He is cynical and passive about everything, but he eventually overcomes his fears and fights against monsters in the midst of continuous disasters.
In particular, the scenes with her older brother Lee Eun-hyuk (Lee Do-hyun) drew much attention. The scene where Eunhyuk bandage Eun-yu’s injured ankle and Eun-yu fix Eun-hyuk’s broken spectacle frame met director Lee Eung-bok, who excelled in producing romance, and the story of the two was revealed that they were not real siblings.
On this day, Ko Min-si said, “I also saw the nickname ‘Brother and sister of poison’. Actually, we didn’t act like that (in romance) when we were acting on the scene. The director said, “The eyes of the actors were good,” but I think the director was good at directing the unique melodrama, so I think the brothers and sisters were shown in detail.” “I personally think that being directed like that gave the fans a better chance.” “I didn’t intend it at all on the spot,” he said.
Ko Min-si then said about her collaboration with Lee Do-hyun, “There were a lot of things that took care of her behind her. “There were a lot of things I was thankful for,” he said. “I heard that Do-hyun purposely tried not to contact the actors in order to be immersed in the character.” I thought he was a friend who tried to do that. And he also has a unique energy that brings out the chemistry. I don’t think it’s an effort, it’s a natural thing. “He is an actor who can save the scene for a short time.”
Lee Do-hyun will be reunited with KBS 2TV’s “Youth of May,” which is scheduled to air in the first half of next year. In this work, he will show a proper romance.
Ko Min-shi said, “It’s amazing to be reunited. After the shoot, I was in contact with my acquaintance, and I entered a good work, and he said that Nam Joo’s character would go well with you. Last year, the director acted in a one-act play with Dohyun. I was casted with him. “I’m looking forward to a new drama because I’ve tried to match it once,” he said with a smile. “Those who were sad about the poison brother and sister would be happy to see ‘Youth of May’.”
