Amid controversy over the idol group Omega X (Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hankyeom, Tae-dong, XEN, Jehyun, KEVIN, Jung-hoon, Hyuk, and Ye-chan) being verbally abused and assaulted by A, the CEO of Spire Entertainment, Spire Entertainment apologized, saying, “I feel all responsibility for the situation.”
Spire Entertainment said on its official Omega X fan cafe on the 7th, “I sincerely apologize to the members, parents, and fans who care about Omega X who must have been hurt by this incident.”
He added, “In addition to the unsavory incident, I sincerely apologize for disappointing you due to the agency’s insufficient response so far.”
Spire Entertainment also said, “The representative who caused an unpleasant incident during the tour voluntarily resigned,” adding, “We will do our best to resolve the bitter criticism you have pointed out.” In addition, we will try to prevent recurrence so that Omega X members will never experience such unsavory things again, and we will do our best to continue our conversations with the members so that we can focus only on artist activities in a better environment, he said.
Recently, a recording file was released online, along with allegations that an OmegaX member was verbally abused and assaulted by A after performing in LA, the last city of the world tour. At the time, Spire Entertainment explained, “OmegaX members and their agencies were talking about what they had been working hard to promise next time at the end of all the tours,” adding, “Meanwhile, we talked about disappointing parts for each other and became emotional and raised our voices.”
OmegaX, who returned home after the tour, opened a new SNS account on the 6th and said, “There were days when I was treated unfairly enough to cry, but remembering the shouts from the fans and watching the cheering messages and sleeping was the only force that made us endure,” he said. He said, “I will stand in front of my fans again with good music and stage.”
