He added that his income has been spent on Kim Sae-ron’s parents’ business funds and his family’s living expenses, and he is at a loss how to pay back his debts from his agency as he has no choice but to make a living by working part-time.
Kim Sae-ron had virtually no property since the accident, and the apartment he unveiled through an entertainment show in the past was also rented under the name of his agency.
In addition, Kim Sae-ron explained that the agency compensated the victims, including nearby merchants, with a lease deposit, and that the difference must be settled first with the agency’s money and paid back.
However, there was no particular position on a part-time job at a franchise cafe that has recently caused controversy.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron hit a street tree and a transformer while driving drunk near Hakdong Intersection in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in May last year. The accident damaged the transformer, cutting off electricity supply to 57 nearby stores and other places, but it was restored in about three hours.
Shortly after the accident, police were dispatched, but Kim Sae-ron refused to measure blood alcohol concentration at the scene and demanded a blood collection test. Later, the blood collection test confirmed that the blood alcohol concentration was about 0.2%, which was the level of license cancellation.
