Kanye West x Kim Kardashian Final Divorce
Hip-hop star Kanye West, 45, and celebrity Kim Kardashian, 42, have agreed to divorce.
Page Six reported on the 29th (local time) that “West and Kim Kardashian will have joint custody through an “equal approach” to their four children.”
They have four children: North (9), St (6), Chicago (4), and Sam (3).
The agreement stated that West would have to pay Kardashian $200,000 a month in child support.
West is also known to be responsible for 50 percent of education and expenses, such as children’s tuition fees.
On the same day, TMZ reported that Kardashian and West should attend the mediation in case of a dispute over one of their four children. However, if either party does not attend the mediation, the participating party is known to be the decision maker.
The property was divided according to the prenuptial agreement of the former couple. Both reportedly gave up supporting their spouses.
Kardashian, who married West in 2014, filed for divorce in February 2021, seven years later. Earlier in March, Kardashian became legally single.
Meanwhile, West has been pardoned, with contracts with famous brands such as Adidas being cut off due to anti-Semitic remarks.
West tweeted on the 8th of last month, “We will impose ‘death con 3’ on Jews.” It was interpreted as an expression of “death” in comparison to DEFCON, which refers to the U.S. military’s readiness to defend itself, causing a stir.
Recently, he has announced his candidacy for the U.S. presidential election in 2024, drawing attention as he has taken political steps.
